1 Applicable Legal Regulation


These General Conditions are subject to the provisions of the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, Law 7/1998, of April 13, on General Conditions of Contract and Decree 13/2011, of February 25, which establishes the general provisions necessary to facilitate freedom of establishment and provision of tourist services, the regulation of the declaration responsible , and the simplification of administrative procedures in tourism.
These General Conditions will be incorporated, signed by the contracting parties, to all combined travel contracts whose purpose are the programs / offer contained in the program / brochure and bind the parties, with the particular conditions agreed in the contract or that are included in the documentation of the trip provided simultaneously with the signing of the contract.


2 Registration


In case of requesting the inscription to a trip, it will be necessary to pay 40% of the amount of said trip. In case the operator requests the total payment in advance, www.taotrips.com, he will ask the client for said amounts. Once the travel contract is formalized, the remaining amounts will be requested, including airport taxes where applicable and all types of extras contracted on the trip to Iceland.
Both the information shown on the website, and the information that may appear in brochures or other advertising elements, should be considered provisional.


3 Price


The price of the trip includes everything specified in the section included in the trip's technical sheet and the current VAT in the cases that must be applied. In no case, unless expressly stated, will be included airport taxes, vaccinations or any other section not expressly specified in the "Includes" section of the technical data sheet.
The prices of the trips announced in www.taotrips.com, are based on the exchange rates, taxes and prices of fuels on January 1, 2012. Any price variation of any of these elements, could cause a revision of the price of the trip, although the price may not be revised upwards in the 20 days prior to the date of travel.
In case of an upward revision of the price of the trip, greater than 15% of the total price of said route, the client may withdraw from the trip without any penalty.


4 Modifications by the Organizer


If before the departure of the trip, the organizer is obliged to significantly alter any of the essential elements of the trip, he must notify the client, in such a way that said client has the option to cancel the contracted trip or accept the new conditions proposals. If during the trip, the agency could not offer any of the contracted services, the amount of said activity will be reimbursed or an attempt will be made to find a similar service. If the weather or any cause of force majeure does not allow the realization of any activity, the company will not have to make any refund.
In the event that the traveler voluntarily opts for the non-performance of any activity, the company shall not refund any amount in any case.
The routes described in the programs may be carried out in the same way as in the technical specifications or in the opposite direction without the need for prior communication to the client.


5 Cancellations by the traveler and / or cancellation of the trip:

- In case of cancellation, there will be a minimum management fee of € 60.
- When canceling a trip, it must be taken into account that there are certain expenses on the part of the agency for payments to suppliers that in most cases may be non-refundable, such as payments of certain accommodations, excursions or issuance of air tickets.
- In case of cancellation, a percentage will be applied to the total amount of the trip depending on the moment in which it is produced and communicated to the agency:
- A- From 15 to 11 days before departure: 5%
- B- From 10 to 3 days before departure: 15%
- C- In the 48 hours prior to departure: 25%
- D- In the event that the client does not show up for the trip, at the agreed point, at the agreed time or with the necessary documentation, the totality of the contract will be lost.
- These percentages indicate the amounts that could be charged to the client in the event of cancellation and / or cancellation of the trip, but must take into account the non-return of those expenses to suppliers mentioned above, which in no case will be reimbursed by the agency .
The consumer of the combined trip may assign his reservation to a third person, requesting it in writing with a minimum of 15 days before the date of commencement of the trip, unless the parties agree on a time limit.shorter term in the contract. The transferee will have to meet the same requirements as the transferor, generally required for the combined trip, and both will be jointly and severally liable to the Travel Agency for the payment, the price of the trip and the additional expenses justified for the assignment.
In the cases that the Organizer conditions, and so expressly specifies, the feasibility of the combined travel offer to have a minimum number of participants and that number is not reached, the trip is canceled, the user will be entitled exclusively to the reimbursement of the total price or amounts advanced, without being able to claim any amount for compensation, provided that the Agency has notified you in writing at least 10 days before the scheduled date of departure.
In those cases of cession of place where the air ticket has been issued, notified to the client, the agency will not be obliged to face the change costs of the ticket holder or a new purchase of air services. The parties in solidarity with the assignment must face the issuance of the new air tickets.


6 Cancellations by the agency: Cause of force majeure

The agency may cancel the departure of a trip for reasons of force majeure, which would be all situations beyond the Organizer and that could make it impossible to complete the route despite having acted with due diligence. In both cases, the consumer will be entitled to reimbursement of the amounts paid except for management expenses and expenses that have been reported as non-refundable.


7 Passports, visas and documentation.

All users, without exception (including children), must have their personal and family documents, whether passport or D.N.I. according to the laws of the country or countries that are visited. It will be on their account when the trips so require the obtaining of visas, passports, vaccination certificates, etc. If the granting of visas is rejected by any Authority, for particular reasons of the user, or its entry into the country is denied due to lack of requirements that are required, or by defect in the required documentation, or because it is not a carrier of the same , the Organizing Agency declines all responsibility for acts of this nature, being at the expense of the consumer any expense that may arise, applying in these circumstances the conditions and rules established for the cases of voluntary withdrawal of services. It also reminds all users and especially those who have a nationality other than the Spanish, who must ensure before starting the trip, have complied with all the rules and requirements applicable to visas in order to enter without problems into all the countries that are going to be visited. Children under the age of 18 must carry written permission signed by their parents or guardians, in anticipation that it may be requested by any authority.


8 Delimitation of package travel services.

In air travel, the presentation to the airport will be made at least two hours in advance of the official departure time, and in any case the specific recommendations indicated in the travel documentation provided when signing the contract will be strictly followed.
In the contracting of single services, it is recommended that the client reconfirms flight departure times 48 hours in advance.
Hotels: The quality and content of the services provided by the hotel will be determined by the official tourist category, if any, assigned by the competent body of your country. Given the current legislation in this regard, which establishes only the existence of single and double rooms allowing in some of the latter a third bed can be enabled, it will always be estimated that the use of the third bed is made with the knowledge and consent of the people that occupy the room. This tacit estimate derives from the certain circumstance of having been previously warned, as well as of figuring the room reflected as triple in all the reservation forms provided to the consumer when paying the advance, in the contract and the tickets and / or documentation of the trip. It is delivered simultaneously to the signature of the same. Also in the cases of double rooms for use of up to four people, with four beds, when so specified in the offer of the program / brochure.
The usual schedule for the entrance and exit in the hotels is based on the first and last service that the user will use. As a general rule and unless expressly agreed otherwise in the contract, the rooms can be used from 15 hours on the day of arrival and must be free before 12 o'clock on the day of departure.
When the service contracted does not include permanent guidance and in the event that the user anticipates arriving at the hotel booked on dates or times other than those described, it is advisable, to avoid problems and misinterpretations, to communicate as far in advance as possible. circumstance to the Organizing Agency, or to the hotel directly.
The accommodation service will imply that the room is available on the corresponding night, understood to be borrowed independently of the fact that due to the circumstances of the combined trip, the opening hours will be later than originally planned.


9 Information that the Retailer Agency must provide to the consumer.

The consumer is informed that at the time of formalizing the contract he must receive from the Retailer Agency the pertinent information on the specific documentation necessary for the chosen trip, as well as advice on the optional subscription of an insurance that covers the cancellation costs and / or an assistance insurance that covers repatriation expenses in case of accident, illness or death; and information on the probable risks implicit in the destination of the contracted trip, in compliance with the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users. For these purposes it is recommended to consult the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that provides specific recommendations according to destination through the Internet (http://www.mae.es) or by other means.


10 Validity.

The validity of the program / brochure will be until December 31, 2017, except in those programs in which other dates are specified.
The date of preparation of prices is November 30, 2016, applying for the calculations the applicable foreign currency exchange rate and the service rates stipulated at that time.
